Week 14 skybox and mountains

 

For this week I created a stylized skybox texturing in photoshop and put them in UE4. Created sand dune mountains using world machine and texture them in substance painter.

swap out pick up blueprints from nicks level.

create some kind of walkway.
asstablish a pipline
create more plants

create more on lighting

start on play enable button

make palm tree leaves fuller

resize catus

do more work on the coconuts

fixing the color of the desert lily

shadow bias in unreal for shadow

add more detail to tomb and refine to make it like the orb style

use shadow bias to bring out shadows

 This week i created game res assets using the scuplted mesh.

Week12 white box

This week my team working on white boxing out scene. I made some trees and created a basic landscape that was edited late by the team. I also created a grab able blueprint.

Week 12 high Res

For this week I made high res version of all the remaining proxy that were in the scene using zbrush. Fixed the color error to the desert lily and added textures to the the main focus object using substance painter.

Week 12 – Art Style Guide (Custom Style Guide/Starting Prototype)

 

For this week, my team have created a centralized theme for the VR experience. I was in charge of creating a environment concept art.




I added some lights to the scene and changed the intensity of the directional light to create a centralized mood.

Week11

For this week I have replaced the proxy palm tree with a refined one. Add some desert lilies and barrel cactuses and then use the foliage tool in unreal to populate them 





Notes

Press p to bring up navmesh viewing 

Use simplified version of the ground plain to create nav mesh

Week11

 For this week my team created our own version of a Art Style Guide that would be use to create a vr game.



I had photo manipulated this grunge map that was used in the background of the slide. Created a default photoshop document with the grunge map for my teammates to use.

        

I manipulated the images to a darker tone that would fit the over all art style.
